Drain your yarn.Put saran wrap underneath your yarn. Honestly, spring for the good stuff with the cutter. I make squares and overlap them as I go around. This is the longest step for me. Well... I got hooked up at Joann's yesterday. They are doing away with the Maxi Lock serger thread so it's on sale. We are talking .99 cents for solid colors and 2.97 for the yummy swirls.
